Welcome!
Here at Afrikatz Savannahs, we will be breeding for type and a friendly outgoing
temperament first and foremost. Our goal is to produce quality,
healthy, and socialized kittens for pet, show, or breeding,
retaining as many traits of the African Serval as possible.
Savannahs are not as big as a Serval, but through careful
breeding, they can retain many traits of the Serval and the fact
that they are smaller than a Serval can help make them easier to
manage. Usually the first generation and the males of the second
generation are the largest, but there are some exceptions to
this, and even the F1 and F2 boys will not be as big as a
serval. A good general weight range for the F1's and the F2
males is between 12-20 pounds and occasionally they do weigh
more, although they are usually taller and longer than a
domestic and sometimes appear to weigh more than they really
do. There are always exceptions to this, both smaller and
larger, but this is a good general range that many will
fall within.
At this point, we are striving to produce kittens with an
exotic look, and friendly temperament to be lifelong members of
their new forever homes!
Take a look around and please feel free to contact us if you
have any questions or would like more information about us, or
our savannah breeding program.
Thank you for taking the time to visit our site!
